This page explains how LoveOCR handles information when you use the website, submit a conversion, create or use an account feature, or contact support. LoveOCR is built by the same founder behind FileConvertFree, but this policy describes LoveOCR processing and LoveOCR services.

1. Uploaded Files and Conversion Content

You keep ownership of the images and documents you upload. LoveOCR processes that content only to provide the conversion or related feature you request. Depending on the selected tool, content may be sent to external AI infrastructure or another technical service provider when that processing is necessary to create the output.

  • Temporary conversion storage: Uploaded files and generated conversion files are scheduled for automatic deletion from LoveOCR storage within 3 hours. The service should not be used as long-term document storage.
  • Purpose-limited use: Conversion content is used to perform the requested operation, troubleshoot service failures when necessary, and protect the service from abuse.
  • No sale of document content: LoveOCR does not sell the contents of files you upload for conversion.

2. Information You Provide Outside a Conversion

Some information is retained longer than temporary conversion files because it is needed to operate accounts, provide support, prevent abuse, or administer paid features.

  • Contact messages: The contact form can store your name, email address, subject, message, IP address, user-agent information, status, and submission time so the request can be reviewed and answered.
  • Account information: If you use an account feature, information you submit to create, secure, or manage that account may be retained for account administration.
  • Billing or subscription records: If a paid plan is used, transaction and plan records may be retained as needed for billing, fraud prevention, accounting, support, and legal obligations. Payment processors may handle payment information under their own privacy terms.

3. Technical Logs, Cookies, and Analytics

LoveOCR may use server logs, cookies, and analytics information to keep the service working, understand aggregate usage, investigate errors, protect against abuse, and improve performance. Technical records can include IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic events. Analytics information is separate from the temporary conversion-file lifecycle described above.

4. Service Providers and Data Sharing

LoveOCR does not claim that conversion data is never processed by another company. Hosting, AI processing, email delivery, analytics, security, and payment services may process limited information when they are needed to operate a feature. We aim to share only what is reasonably necessary for that purpose. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy obligations.

5. Retention

Temporary conversion files and longer-lived account or support records have different retention needs. Uploaded and generated conversion files are scheduled for deletion from LoveOCR storage within 3 hours. Contact messages, account information, security logs, and transaction records may be kept longer when needed to provide support, maintain an account, investigate abuse, meet accounting requirements, or comply with applicable obligations. They are not covered by the 3-hour conversion-file deletion rule.

6. Security

LoveOCR uses HTTPS/TLS to protect data in transit and applies technical and operational controls intended to reduce unauthorized access. No online service can promise that transmission or storage is risk-free. If a document is exceptionally sensitive and you are not comfortable with remote processing, do not upload it.

7. Your Choices and Requests

You can choose not to upload a file, avoid creating an account, or contact us about information associated with a support request or account. Requests may require reasonable verification so that information is not disclosed or changed for the wrong person. Available rights can vary by location and applicable law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when service features, providers, or legal requirements change. When the policy is materially revised, the Last Updated date on this page should be changed to reflect the revision.
